This calculator estimates the IPLV.IP (Integrated Part Load Value - International Performance) of a water-cooled chiller, based on its efficiency at 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% load conditions. It follows the AHRI 550/590 standard, which uses a weighted reciprocal formula to reflect real-world part-load performance:

IPLV.IP = 1 / [(0.01/A) + (0.42/B) + (0.45/C) + (0.12/D)]

Where:

• A = efficiency at 100% load (kW/ton)

• B = efficiency at 75% load

• C = efficiency at 50% load

• D = efficiency at 25% load

This metric is widely used to compare chillers and ensure energy-efficient operation under varying load conditions.
